As the time has come for Jodie to embark on her LDS mission, I thought I would do a quick post for those of you who don’t know what a mission entails so that you can find out what it’s all about.
Check out her missionary announcement – https://youtu.be/DO4Mdg7gK4c
Jodie will be leaving for her mission on Wednesday 6th July ( tomorrow 🙁 and she will be reporting to the Preston MTC where she will spend about 6 weeks learning German as well as how to be a great missionary. Jodie has been called to serve in the Alpine German-Speaking Mission, which covers parts of Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, where she will serve for 18 months.

Normally I am pretty reserved and not the most open when it comes to my religion, but with Jodie leaving on her mission, it has made me reflect on how we are taught that every member is a missionary, so I want to use this post as my missionary opportunity to teach people about our church.
I am so proud of Jodie for taking the time to serve a mission and I cannot wait to hear from her every week with all the many experiences and miracles she will witness throughout her 18 months out there. I know it’s going to be hard saying goodbye to her and a lot of tears are going to be flowing, but I am SOOO happy for her and I know she has made the right decision!!!
Jodie, GO GET ‘EM GIRL!!!!! Love you xx
